Motorola to launch 2GHz Android phone in 2010
Conceivably Tech cites anonymous MOTOEXEC who was a little more chatty, talking up a device intended to “incorporate everything that is technologically possible in a smartphone today.” Whoa.
Manufacturers usually seem to avoid this “smartphone utopia” scenario like the plague, if for no other reason than to avoid destroying sales of current smartphones.
However, if this 2GHz chip-packing Android-based device with Nvidia Tegra graphics, Flash 10.1, gyroscope, HD video recording and output, HD screen and a greater-than-5-megapixel camera comes to life — especially by the end of this year — we could be looking at just that.

Android Comes to AT&T Via Motorola Backflip
U.S. cell service provider and Apple iPhone partner AT&T stepped into the Google Android world with the addition of the Motorola Backflip to its mobile phone lineup.
While the Backflip’s design won’t likely lead to lower iPhone sales, the phone gives AT&T customers an Android-based option, potentially keeping at least some of its subscribers looking for an Android-based phone from moving to Verizon or T-Mobile.

Adobe AIR For Android Coming Soon, Potentially Huge Impact
Since the Motorola Droid launched we knew Adobe Flash was coming first quarter of 2010 and the lack of flash on mobile devices tends to be one point of contention/discussion/debate when comparing phones. Now Adobe is set to make an announcement that will help developers create flash-based games and apps that can be deployed on all devices across all platforms and only created once.
And this is where it gets really cool. Adobe AIR is currently used to create DESKTOP applications but when all is said and done, devs will be able to create a MOBILE app/game and upload it directly to Android Market as if it were a native Android App. Same goes for BlackBerry, iPhone, etc… and that’s with only having created the app/game once.

Google Gets Angry Buzz Over Lack of Full Android Support
Only devices running Android 2.0 and higher can take full advantage of Buzz, Google’s latest attempt to be all things to all people on the social web. Which means only users with a Motorola Droid or Google Nexus One can enjoy Buzz — the mobile app doesn’t work on Android 1.6, which runs on T-Mobile USA’s G1 and myTouch. And the latest version of Google Maps requires at least Android 1.6, leaving gadgets like the Sprint Hero and Verizon Droid Eris behind.
Astoundingly, the app is fully supported by any iPhone, as Google itself touts here.
