Pocket Now has the Cliq XT, and they shared some information and pictures about it:
The device runs MOTOBLUR on top of Android 1.5 and is designed as a slate/tablet form factor for T-Mobile. Specs-wise, it uses a similar processor to the MOTO CLIQ. What’s notable is that Motorola included two back battery covers.

T-Mobile Motorola CLIQ XT Price and Photos Emerge

The Motorola CLIQ XT has been already expected to arrive at T-Mobile as a rather affordable device, and a leaked document the guys over at TmoNews grabbed recently shows exactly that. It seems that the handset will be priced at $129.99 after a rebate and upon the signing of a two year agreement with the carrier, but users will also be able to purchase it free of contract, case in which they would have to pay $329.99 for it.

The handset is expected to become available for purchase as soon as March 10.

Hands-on video of the Motorola CLIQ XT / QUENCH

Mobile Burn has a review and a video of the Motorola CLIQ XT. Here are the highlights:

The most obvious change is the lack of the CLIQ’s keyboard, which results in the phone being 2.5mm or so thinner. It also feels much more solid, and is better looking to my eyes. The d-pad controller is gone, but has been replaced by a touch sensitive navigation device below the display. The new hardware buttons underneath the display are also an improvement, as is the addition of a flash to the camera.
Overall, it looks like a nice new addition to the Motorola family of Android handsets.

Hands on T-Mobile Motorola CLIQ XT (Quench)

We expect T-Mobile to launch the CLIQ XT March 10, 2010 and we are still waiting on a price. This phone is essentially the same hardware of the original CLIQ minus the physical keyboard, so expect it to land somewhere around $149 with 2 year contract.

Unfortunately, the device will ship with Android 1.5 which does not support many of the new native applications from Google.

Motorola Cliq XT: Another Android Phone Lands on T-Mobile

If you’re an Android fan, the network to be on in the US is clearly T-Mobile. At the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, Motorola revealed its eighth Android phone, the Motorola Cliq XT (as it will be known stateside) or Quench (its name everywhere else). The Cliq XT will land on T-Mobile next month. Pricing hasn’t been confirmed.

Like the Cliq, Motorola’s first Android device in the US, the Cliq XT runs Motorola’s MotoBlur user interface over Android 1.5. A big difference between the Cliq XT and its sibling is that the XT lacks a physical keyboard. The Cliq XT has a 3.1-inch touchscreen, which is a bit small compared to other smartphones on the market, Flash Lite support, and pinch-and-zoom capabilities in the browser. It also sports a 5-megapixel camera and comes preloaded with all of the Google services you’d expect on an Android phone.
