The phone known as the Motorola Opus One is going to be named the Boost Mobile i1. The i1 was recently spotted on the FCC web site and is expected to be announced during CTIA later this month.

Motorola is aiming for the low end and the i1 might be the lowest priced Android device at launch. Look for this phone to debut under $300.

Motorola Android MOTOROI Coming To T-Mobile USA?

Earlier reports indicated that Motorola Android MOTOROI might be available on Verizon Wireless, but now word is going around that T-Mobile might be the carrier that will be offering this interestingly-shaped phone. While there isn’t any official word on this just yet, leaked reports a while back indicated that a version of the Motorola Droid without a sliding keyboard would be headed towards T-Mobile, and the MOTOROI would fit that bill nicely. Aside from that, earlier information regarding this phone included descriptions such as “Sholes Tablet T-Mobile US”, not to mention that the FCC approved a phone code-named Sholes, which would support T-Mobile USA’s unique 3G network.

Motorola Android Motus Passes Through the FCC

The Motus, a Motorola Android device set to sport a 5 megapixel AF camera, a 3.1-inch QVGA display, and HSPA, is expected to launch in early 2010.

It is very similar in stats to the recently launched Motorola Cliq, but it is not clear at the moment if the Motus will be running vanilla Android or MotoBlur, Motorola’s own Android variation.

What makes the Motus’s FCC approval big news is the fact that it was predicted in an earlier leak, which now seems to be a little more credible. If the leak was indeed correct, it indicates that the Motorola Sholes Tablet could be passing the FCC in the coming months, and maybe even in the next few weeks!
