Motorola to launch 2GHz Android phone in 2010
Conceivably Tech cites anonymous MOTOEXEC who was a little more chatty, talking up a device intended to “incorporate everything that is technologically possible in a smartphone today.” Whoa.
Manufacturers usually seem to avoid this “smartphone utopia” scenario like the plague, if for no other reason than to avoid destroying sales of current smartphones.
However, if this 2GHz chip-packing Android-based device with Nvidia Tegra graphics, Flash 10.1, gyroscope, HD video recording and output, HD screen and a greater-than-5-megapixel camera comes to life — especially by the end of this year — we could be looking at just that.

New Details Leak on Droid Xtreme, or ‘Shadow’
Goodbye Shadow, hello Xtreme. New images and details have surfaced of Motorola’s Droid Shadow phone—now branded the Droid Xtreme—which was previously alleged to have been lost in a Verizon gym last week.
According to DroidLife, the new phone is definitely sporting an 8-megapixel camera and an “HD Video” label around the lens indicates that it’ll be able to shoot movies at a resolution of 720p at least.
The phone’s UI will run a partially customized UI based on Android 2.1 – at least according to the current batch of pictures that highlight the Xtreme’s interface. It’s unclear whether Motorola will opt for a last-minute upgrade to Android 2.2, or “Froyo,” prior to the device’s rumored July or August release.

3 Motorola Android phones you can’t have
Motorola is planning over 20 Motorola Android phones for 2010 and Android and Me has some details about three Motorola Android phones that aren’t coming to the US soon:
Motorola MT710
The MT710 is a stylish tablet style phone headed for China Mobile. The device runs the latest version of the OPhone platform (China Mobile’s version of Android) and will support their TD-SCDMA 3G network.

Motorola XT800

The XT800 is another China bound phone with some interesting features. A Cortex A8 processor (same as Droid) is powering the device but the speed is unknown. This phone will also capture high definition video and support 720p playback via HDMI. The XT800 also doubles as a bedside clock with built in FM radio and an optional desktop dock.
Motorola XT701
Finally we have the XT701, which many people have been referring to as the Sholes Tablet. This phone is said to feature the same specs that we saw in the Verizon Droid, with a few minor tweaks. Most notable is the lack of a physical keyboard that came with the Droid. Other changes will include an 8 megapixel camera with xenon flash and a FM radio.
