T-Mobile Motorola CLIQ XT Price and Photos Emerge

The Motorola CLIQ XT has been already expected to arrive at T-Mobile as a rather affordable device, and a leaked document the guys over at TmoNews grabbed recently shows exactly that. It seems that the handset will be priced at $129.99 after a rebate and upon the signing of a two year agreement with the carrier, but users will also be able to purchase it free of contract, case in which they would have to pay $329.99 for it.

The handset is expected to become available for purchase as soon as March 10.

flash 10.1 confirmed for motorola droid and nexus one only

this morning, the flash mobile blog confirmed that flash 10.1 will only run on mobile devices that have ARM Cortex A8 chipsets, i.e. the motorola droid and nexus one. the rest of you will still have a flash option…flash lite.

Motorola launched a new official software update for Motorola CLIQ under the 1.3.18 version codename which is an improvement from the first version that was released in December. The update is automatically performed by Android and if your device isn’t updated till now you should start refreshing your device more often.

Hands on T-Mobile Motorola CLIQ XT (Quench)

We expect T-Mobile to launch the CLIQ XT March 10, 2010 and we are still waiting on a price. This phone is essentially the same hardware of the original CLIQ minus the physical keyboard, so expect it to land somewhere around $149 with 2 year contract.

Unfortunately, the device will ship with Android 1.5 which does not support many of the new native applications from Google.

Motorola Zeppelin may be the Cliq XT, may launch March 10 on T-Mobile

New info regarding the Motorola Zeppelin, if this slide, purportedly from an internal T-Mobile presentation, is to believed:
1.) It’ll be called the Cliq XT.
2.) It’ll be available on March 10.

The tweak has been tested up to 1.3 GHz clock speed, but more than doubling the speed makes the Motorola Droid very unstable.
